Howick Intermediate School

ABOUT THE SCHOOL

Howick Intermediate is a well-established school in Howick, being founded in 1965. The medium-sized school has undergone a lot of change with facility upgrades and new learning practices.

This is an exciting place for learning and personal development, being inclusive to a diverse group of students with different cultural backgrounds.

The school motto: ‘‘De Bon Vouloir Servir’, translated: ‘To Serve With Goodwill’,

We place an emphasis on virtues and are purposefully fostering a positive school culture and strong identity. As an inclusive school, our goal is for every student to feel a sense of belonging at Howick.

THE CHALLENGE

The website had to be informative and reflect the nurturing environment of the school for intermediate students from different backgrounds.

Being a very busy school, a digital news wall became an important feature of the website, which reported on the latest activities and achievements at a glimpse.

A dedicated photo shoot added to the authentic character of the website, which offers a great introduction for future students and parents. It assists in the enrolment process of new students, which happens every year for an Intermediate School.
